Grand Officer’s Set, 2nd Class, instituted in 1951. Neck Badge, silver gilt, 54 mm, both sides enameled, superimposed parts silver
gilt (reverse star is missing), with crown suspension device and original insulated neck ribbon. Breast Star, silver with brilliant cut rays, 73 mm, superimposed part silver gilt, enameled, reverse
with tapered vertical pin, in case of issue by “Cravanzola, Roma” with
Italian Republic coat of arms on the lid and lapel hole rosette. An early attractive set!
