Description:

Veludført medaille af sølv, præget i anledning af Friedrich Den Stores død 1786. Medaillør: Johann Georg Holtzhey. På fs. står der: "FRID IMCOMPARABILIS - DEI GRATIA REX BORVSS ETC", og busteportræt af Friedrich II i uniform. Medaillørens initialer (IGH) står under "under ærmet". På bs. står: "RESTABAT - ALIUD NIHIL // NATUS XXIV JAN MDCCXII / DENATUS XVII AUGUST / MDCCLXXXVI", og allegorisk motiv over regentens bedrifter. Ø. 45 mm.

Fremstår m. nydelig blå-og orangetonet patina.
