Møntsættet indeholder samtlige mønter i Danmarks møntserie: 20-, 10-, 5-, 2-, og 1-kr samt 50- og 25-øre.
Mønterne i 1994 møntsættet adskiller sig på et væsentligt punkt fra de foregående års mønter, idet portrættet af H.M. Dronningen på 10- og 20 kr er afløst af et helt nyt, der er udført af Den Kgl. Mønts medaillør, Jan Petersen.
