I 1996 er der kun præget fem af de normale syv faste mønter i møntrækken, idet der som følge af tilstrækkelige lagre ikke var behov for at slå 5- og 10 kr.
Prins Joachims bryllup d. 18. november 1995 med prinsesse Alexandra blev markeret med udsendelsen af to erindringsmønter - en 20 kr som cirkulationsmønt og en 200 kr i sølv. Som følge af det sene udgivelsestidspunkt kunne 20 kr ikke medtages i møntsættet for 1995; den indgår i stedet i møntsæt 1996. (Modelfoto)
