ORDER OF GEDEMINAS
Grand Cross Set.Sash Badge, silver, silver gilt and white enamel,
square center medallion with gilt “Trakai Castle gate” (the coat
of arms of Grand Duke Gedeminas) on red enamel, on the plain
reverse the date “1918 II. 16” (date of Proclamation of the
Lithuanian Republic), correct new sash. Breast Star, silver, center
piece repeating the order’s badge, typical, slightly oblique, broad
pin on reverse. An outstandingly rare set of the highest Lithuanian
order in extremely fine condition!
