MILITARY ORDER OF MARIA THERESIA
Grand Cross Breast Star with the motto of the Order of the
Garder. Breast Star, silver brilliant cut, 58 mm, partially gilt and
enameled, multipart construction with superimposed blue
enamel motto “Honi Soit Qui Mal y Pense”, excellently drilled
holles, reverse with wide tapered pin, “MAYER`S SOHNE, WIEN”.
Very fine Austrian quality, probably of ROTHE – origin after 1918.
A few small enamel damages, some patina. Very interesting, but
unknown variation, very attractive!
